Early Recovery Initiative

Through funding by the UK’s Conflict Stability and Security Fund (CSSF), KasmoDev Albany Associates co-implemented the ERI, a 3-year UK’s CSSF program in Somalia. As the local delivery counterpart, we successfully conducted various projects and research work in hard-to-reach newly & recently recovered areas in Jubbaland, Southwest, Hirshabelle, and Galmudug states of Somalia. Our work supported the ministries of interior-led social reconciliation processes, identified reasons for intercommunity conflict and tensions, and established platforms for community dialogue and dispute resolution committees endorsed by the respective state governments.
